Frequently Asked Questions

What makes Southern Sweet Tea Company different from store-bought tea?

Our sweet tea is real-brewed using premium tea leaves and pure cane sugar—never high fructose corn syrup or artificial sweeteners. We brew our tea the traditional Southern way, ensuring authentic flavor in every bottle.

What ingredients do you use?

We use only the finest ingredients: premium black tea leaves, pure cane sugar, and filtered water. No artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives—just real, honest ingredients you can feel good about.

How long does your tea stay fresh?

Our bottled tea has a shelf life of 2 years. For best taste, we recommend refrigerating after opening and consuming within 7-10 days. Our tea bags stay fresh for up to 18 months when stored in a cool, dry place.

How should I store your products?

Bottled tea should be refrigerated for optimal freshness. Tea bags should be kept in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and strong odors.

Do you offer wholesale or bulk ordering?

Yes! We work with restaurants, cafes, offices, and retailers. Visit our Wholesale page or contact us directly to discuss bulk pricing and partnership opportunities.

What's your shipping policy?

We ship across the United States. Most orders ship within 1-2 business days and arrive within 3-7 business days depending on your location. Visit our Shipping & Returns page for complete details.

What if my order arrives damaged?

We take great care in packaging, but if your tea arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours with photos. We'll make it right with a replacement or refund.

Can I return or exchange products?

Due to the nature of our beverage products, we can only accept returns for damaged or defective items. Please see our Shipping & Returns page for our complete policy.

How do I brew the perfect pitcher with your tea bags?

Bring 4 cups of water to a boil, add 4-6 tea bags, steep for 5-7 minutes, remove bags, add 1 cup of sugar (or to taste), stir until dissolved, then add 4 cups of cold water. Refrigerate and serve over ice. Adjust sweetness to your preference!
